Abstract
Since the Party’s 18th National Congress,” major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics” has come to the fore. With China’s influence in regional and global affairs apparent to all, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core grasped international context changes and responded to globalization by introducing this forward-looking diplomatic concept. Though China’s internal politics and diplomacy are highly unified, peaceful international environment and stable international order remain necessary for realizing the Chinese dream and its parallel advancement of world peace and prosperity. President Xi stresses that diplomacy should provide firm guarantee for “two 100-year plans,” domestic development goals and the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation. He points out that other countries’ dreams are closely linked with the Chinese dream of prosperity, revitalization, and people’s well-being. China’s development conforms with other countries’ peaceful expectations and is compatible with their interests.
