Abstract
An article is presented that reports on foreign policy in India in 2011. The article describes pragmatist and nationalist perspectives on foreign relations related to solidarity and relations with the U.S. The articled discusses the role of Indian autonomy in policies, as well as in alliances, power politics, and the views of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Information is also provided on India’s economy growth, democracy and democratic global governance, and foreign relations with Iran, China, and Pakistan.
