The article is a response to a piece by Daniel Drezner, Professor of International Politics and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and argues there are clear economic benefits to a country with military primacy, including open trading order, foreign investment, the global reserve currency, bargaining leverage, and direct contributions to the hegemon.
