Abstract
Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Central Committee with Xi Jinping at its core has elaborated on the creation of a community of shared future for mankind. Realizing long-term peace, harmony, prosperity and development in a comprehensive, systematic and profound way is the goal for the new century. This concept was addressed, post-Cold War, by Chinese leaders Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao. Reasons why socialist China under the guidance of the Chinese communist party, rather than capitalist Western countries, is working to follow through on this stem from historical trends and China’s fundamental,long-term interests. The new era calls for great vision. A community of shared future is an international political concept derived from the principle that global cooperation should respond to global issues.
