Abstract
In 1949,an independent new China commenced a new era of relations with the outside world. In 1979,China took an active part in the world with a new outlook of reform and opening up policies, and China-foreign relations entered a new stage. Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the new central leading group with Xi Jinping as the leader makes great efforts in governing the country. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, pioneering and innovative in the international community, China and foreign relations ushered in a new era.
