The Rising Powers Initiative (RPI) brings together scholars from across the globe to examine contemporary identities and foreign policy debates of aspiring powers in Asia. Home to a variety of publications ranging from policy commentaries to research articles, RPI seeks to spotlight the diversity of opinion on current foreign policy challenges in Asia, with a special focus on Indo-Pacific security and major power relations. RPI is hosted by the Sigur Center for Asian Studies at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
